I can see Floyd going after the middleweight crown ... I remember seeing someone post that upon Floyd's return and I can see that happening.

A much bigger fight than Floyd vs Pac ... and with Williams' ability ... alot of fighters can see him being a big threat to PBF.

Thoughts on a potential fight and how it will turn out if it goes down???

Floyd doesn't even walk around 160 lbs the fight would have to be at a catchweight of like 156 lbs. At 147 I would have favored Floyd but anything higher goes to the Punisher

Does Floyd even have the frame to weigh in at 160? You said it would be for Williams titles if he beats Pavlik. Floyd would weigh in at 150 or something.

It can happen bro ... just think they'll both come in great shape and Floyd doesn't neccessarily have to be 160 ... he can come in 155 and still be effective and as far as Paul Williams goes, he will probably do the same.

I shudder at the kind of cash that would have to be on the table to get Floyd to 160.

You don't have to fight at 160 ... Floyd can come in at whatever weight he's comfortable at.

These catchweight scenarios are ridiculous ... he can come in at whatever ... Oscar and Hopkins did it.

No way in HELL!!!! That Mayweather would pick a fighter that stands 6'2 (yes 6'2 imo) with 81 reach and punch out put style of Williams if Williams beats Pavlik.

That would be a huge payday for both fighters ... and given the jump in weight would make for good pre fight build up.

Remember before Williams fought Margarito he was the madatory to fight Floyd for the WBC strap.

In no way, shape, or form would a Williams-Mayweather fight ever be as big as a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight.

I doubt Williams is anywhere on Floyd's radar or if he will ever be, even if he beats Pavlik.

Floyd is a smart fighter and most of the time when it comes to physical attributes ... they get thrown out the window when Floyd fights.

He's an accomplished fighter ... he's sparred with light heavyweights for cryin out loud ... he will be able to handle this. He was also in the olympics and has seen tall skinny guys before.

It will not be an issue !!

Oscar and Hopkins fought at a catchweight of 158. Anyway, I like the idea of this fight. MW is really stretching it for Floyd, but Williams would probably only weigh in at at about 158 anyway.

The punisher ... 3 weight titlist ... physically freakish ... and is avoided like the plague ... the promotion would be huge ... especially considering that on paper _ he would be more of a threat than Pac.
