If williams does reclaim his belt back is he up there with cotto and margarito? does he fight the loser? and if quintana win is he awarded a prize fight with cotto/margarito? any thoughts?

Williams refused to give Margarito a rematch. Why so?

In some people's eyes Margarito became top three at WW and top twenty P4P by beating a borderline top ten WW that he already beat before in exactly the same way he did before and it was obvious he would again.

So I would say Williams Would definately get rated higher generally if he beats someone he lost to previously.

Personally I already have him rated higher than Margaritto due to the actual result between them, until one of them does something to convince me that that is not accurate.

This topic isn't worth too much discussion IMO, because Williams won't win, and wouldn't in ten attempts against Quintana.

    Nightmare stylewise!

He'll have a belt, they swear to God that he isn't struggling with the weight, sure he'll be back in the mix.

Assuming that the winner of Cotto-Margarito can't make the fight with Mayweather, I think a victorious Williams will be there or thereabouts.

He'll be back in the mix, but he'll get beat badly if he fights either Cotto or Mayweather.

Williams didn't refuse to give Margarito a rematch ... it was a mandatory shot so there couldn't be a rematch clause in effect because it was a mandatory defense.

Margarito had moved back up the ranks and became the #1 contender by the WBO, but in doing so seen that he could whoop on Cintron once again and have an easier time winning a belt.

If Williams wins ... he's back in the WW mix, but he still would have to fight Quintana again to further prove himself as a legit champion ...

If Margarito beats Cotto, chances are Floyd doesn't take a fight with Margo - Margo will probably look to unify against the winner of Quintana - Williams II.
