I voted Witter-Khan but it's almost by default as I would rather see Hatton hang 'em up and be proud of his career.

I don't think he will either. As a Yorkie I shouldn't give a **** about a Manc being twatted but in his case I will make an exception. Hang em up Ricky :good
I agree with this. I said at the time that whilst Khan looked good in that fight and it was a step up to fringe world class, St Clair was made for him, a smaller man with little power who he could pick off from the outside using his speed. I think Kotelnik was a good stylistic match for him as well, certainly the best of the world champions. I give Khan credit for his attitude since the Prescott loss and for winning that fight which was a toss-up in my view against a legit world class operator. However, I still won't be totally convinced by him until I see him beat a world class light welter who can punch. That said, I think Scurla's comments are harsh. Kotelnik is certainly not domestic or European level, he is a legit world level operator. His performances against Witter, Mbaye, Maidana and Rees show that. Nobody has ever beaten him clearly before.

Probably true that. However, I don't see any winnable fights out there for Hatton that will substantially improve his resume. JWW at present is littered with solid but unspectacular operators, the type of whom Hatton has beaten a fair number of already. He can't beat the main welterweights and the money for any of the junior welter fighters probably won't be worth getting out of bed for to him. Couple that with the fact he seems to have lost his desire for the sport and I'd rather see him call it a day. Witter by contrast may be older but he's still hungry, still needs to really establish financial security and there are a few fights out there which would improve his resume considerably. Khan, obviously much the same at his age though unfortunately he's probably earned more than Witter already.

I'm not totally convinced by this. For me, Khan hasn't always looked the most comfortable when fighters who have something to trouble him really come at him and put the pressure on. See Prescott, Gomez, even Limond had him in trouble. If he beats a Maidana/Ortiz or a Bradley, Torres even Hatton at this stage, I will be convinced. A win over Witter, Holt or Urango would also score highly though I think those fighters may be more suited to him, the former two because they are dangerous but lackadaisical and the latter because he is pretty slow. I still think Witter-Khan would be Witer's fight to lose, but then again wouldn't be surprised if he managed to do so.
