If he stops them all then Top 3 HW. Not a lot of people seem to be looking forward for fury rematch but i for 1 am very interested to see if it was just an "off" night for wlad and to see what he really has left.

Remains to be seen. You can't really judge because Wilder and AJ haven't really cemented their legacy as of yet either. A win over Fury for either of them would legitimise them more than it would Fury.

AJ is a very dangerous fight for Wlad at this point of his career.

Beating Fury in the rematch may actually be bad for Wlad's historical ranking. If he loses, the Fury losses get erased as people will chalk it up to Wlad being old.

Without any significant wins on his cv, Wlad was already being (unfairly) defined by his losses. All of which were eat the hands of C class fighters. If the first Fury loss lacks the excuse of age, it means that Wlad was simply outclassed that night. Highly doubt Fury will go on to be anything after losing the rematch. So, Wald gets a loss on his record where he was outclassed by another C-class fighter; a guy who's only big accomplishment was his win vs Wlad.

If Wlad does win the rematch, he should probably retire on top. Going on to win against the other top rated guys will just prove that he was never washed up. It will make the first Fury loss look worse in hindsight,

It really depends on what those guys did AFTER he beat them.

If they did nothing of consequence and retired, then it would mean little for his legacy. If one of them went on to have an impressive and dominant career, it would be huge for his legacy.

And what are you basing that on? AJ's ATG performances against Martin, Whyte and Breazeale?:rofl

Those three all lose by brutal KO against Wlad and Wilder as well, Fury schools them with ease and stops them late. Get a grip.

If Vlad achieved all that I'd have to call him a DREAM, because that's the only way this would happen.
Vlad is through. Them Roids done burned up his liver and testicles.

He's already in my top 10. 18 title defenses. Many wins over prime contenders. If he comes back and beats Fury at 40 to me he has solid case for #3 and no legitimate case of being left out of the top 10.

He's too old and Fury will beat him anyway.

But sure, if he magically does that, then he'll easily be in my top 5 ATGs.
