If Wlad beats Fury in the rematch, would it be the best win of his career?

I think coming back from the loss debacle at 40+ would show a toughness and resilience that his detractors say he doesn't have, plus he'd have to change his "jab and grab" style which at his age would be an amazing feat.

Beating Fury in and of itself isn't the challenge....the challenge is within himself. He's old, he's rich, he's comfortable both in his life and in his boxing style. That's a lot to overcome.

Coming into the ring motivated and with a plan and ko'ing that stiff in the first round would be a darn good last impression

Dreaming must be allowed even if your opinion has
    nothing to do with reality.

lets see, his best wins are shaggy haye and pov, 2 of which briefly held titles and defended I think a couple of times, albeit medicore level defences by both of them.

Now, fury hasn't even made a defences yet, so NO, its below the level of those two, IF wlad beat him in a comeback.

It would however be a top five win for wlad, and more significantly, the first time he had won a rematch which he lost first time (without waiting for the opponent to go blind and retire first of course).

It would be the first time Wlad has tried to prove he didn't get beaten/destoryed fair and square.

Don't forget, he's talking about the fantasy versions. No need to let the truth get in the way of a good story. Real world results of them while old don't factor into the equation; simply typing in the name of the legend and/or a symbol of mockery is all the proof necessary.

I think his best win was Chagaev. Constantly coming forward pressing for the inside onslaught on Wlad

Very impressive effort on Chagaevs part; took a beating and just kept coining, bobbing and trying to get inside

After that, the second Peter win would rank up there.

I think the means with HOW decisively he beats Fury determine how impressive the win is......he's gonna beat Fury in the rematch but how convincingly is the variable
