Not really a huge win because Wilders record is pretty mediocre right now. Of course, if Wilder wins a couple titles after Wlad retires then the value of Wilder's scalp would increase over time. But as of right now, Wilder is just a random name. Nothing special.
Like I've said in another thread, if Wlad beats Fury in late 2015, and Wilder makes 2 successful defenses against 2 top 10 HW's, such as Glazkov and Povetkin-Perez winner, a fight around this time in 2016 between Wlad and Wilder will be the biggest HW bout since Lennox vs Vitali - that's 13 years. Wilder can certainly beat Glazkov or someone of that caliber, but can he beat Povetkin-Perez winner? If Perez manages to steal a win, he can, if Povetkin wins, which is likely, then that will be a huge test Wilder will need to overcome but such a win will also end the nonsense "Wilder is a bum" and will make the Wlad vs Wilder fight the biggest since 2003 as I've mentioned above.
And i don't think so. I think it would be a much easier fight than the Jennings or Fury one. Wilder is all smoke and mirrors, his power is hype and his chin incredibly weak.
I dont know, mate! Wilder is totally unknown outside the USA-nobody has ever heard his name. Most knowledgeable fight fans outside the states think that he is a typical american hype job. Besides German television was not very happy that Wlad vs Jennings took place in the middle of the night-german time.Since German tv pays more bucks than any American tv channel Wilder vs Wlad would probably have to take place in Germany where Wilder is a nobody. I very much doubt that German tv will spend extra bucks to fianance this fight. Furthermore Wilder is no Povetkin. He didnt win any gold medal at the olympics.Russia's Romanov wiped the floor with him knocking him down 3 times before he stopped the American.Cant really see that Wilder would be one of the biggest fights in Wlad's career.
