he will have gained more respect from a total non-fan in myself, because of a combination of wach's size, confidence, and power. wlad would be putting himself in wlad's way in pursuit of a good performance for the first time since his fight with peter imo, because he most certainly didn't do it with haye. all of that said, I still see him most likely refusing to engage because of the fact that wach's fists will be in range often. that is all...
Wach only has a puncher's chance. He might last 2-3 rounds tops. Superslow guy makes Arreola look like Whitaker.
it takes two to tango. wlad never put his feet fully on the gas pedal. he should have stalked haye when he realized that haye was totally negative. I mean, most fighters in the division's most anticipated fight in years would've done that.
Gotta love when brittards try to cover up Haye's **** performance by blaming Wlad as well. They'd have you believe it wasn't all the fault of the guy who ran all night throwing **** all for an unspectacular fight.
I see Wlad coming out his same usual way. First rd feeling his opponent out, and then when he realizes or figures out the timing of Wach, Knocking him out. I still don't have great knowledge on Wachs punch resistance. Most heavyweights possess the power to KO their opponent with one clean, well timed punch (Wladimir certainly does and is capable of landing it from rd1-rd12). But "sometimes" those KO's can be viewed as lucky. Those sometimes being when behind on cards or your original game plan isn't working. Those scenarios seem to never apply to Wladimir though. I think it's just as impressive to go a few rds, winning every second of every rd completely nullifying anything your opponent try's, and then ending up with the KO. Something far less heavyweights can do. Would I prefer quicker KO wins for him?? Sure, of course, but not all the time, I'd rather get to watch some boxing half the time. I ask you this how many of the other champions in other weight classes consistently score earlier KO wins. One thing you must remember is that these challengers understand what's at stake with these title opportunity's. Receive career paydays, which all helps, in them training harder and longer
Translation: Wach might be easy to hit to possibly getted iced but that's not Wlad's style. If icing fails you know Wlad will get punched in the face. That doesn't happen often and Wach is not featherfisted. There's a small chance the fight will be interesting.
Wach don't last longer than 5, most likely a lot sooner.Anyone that think Wach wins needs to put the pipe down.
first of all, i'm not a brittard. you're undoubtedly a serious klitschko fan, so that betrays any objectivity you could have possessed. secondly, you're point would stand if wlad was the spectacular type.
4 rounds for a 40 year old CW who had 4 HW fights. 4 rounds. Wlad isn't going to put Wach asleep before he puts all of us to sleep.
Haye was **** in the Wlad fight but there is no excuse that Wlad dint punish him. No reason. Any great champ would have put that guy to sleep. Haye cant take a punch on the chin at all. Thompson stopped him,Barrett dropped him,Mormeck dropped him,Chisora rocked him in round 3. Wlad could have put Haye down but he was too scared of getting hit.
