I heard Kevin Johnson getting million dollars for the VK fight. I wouldnt call it slave contacts or even say they are greedy. Their the champs and that kinda money is good for a challengers. Briggs was 750000 and his promoted company ****ed him over.

So now Klitschko haters are setting the bar even higher! He's only given "X" number of rounds in which to beat an opponent or hes ****!

It's not only haters, I'm a very long time fan....and I agree with this statement to some extent. If Haye can get rid of Mormeck in 7 round, I don't think it's prohibitive to expect Wlad to do the same or better given his advantages.

If it's mid fight and I see Manny Steward hounding Wlad to "throw the punches" like he has been the last several fights, Wlad deserves some criticism.

 

I believe it's a no-no situation for Wlad even if he stops him late which I don't believe he will. Very poor opponent picking in this one... Wlad just looking to stay busy and they serve him with the guy who was stopped by Haye in the CWs... It's almost like serving Tyson with Carlos de Leon instead of Evander Holyfield back in the day. Wlad won't stop him cause this guy will move with a shell, take blows with his shoulders and top of head and will always look dangerous firing back with meaty short hooks. Wlad can't hit him right on the temple and put him down if he doesn't step in with a powerful short right hook inside...

 

You are a great poster and I respct your opinion, but I must disagree.

When Floyd Patterson was KO'd in three by Johansson and in one round by Liston,
nobody was saying Ali must beat Patterson faster are he deserves criticsm.

 

:goodthis. wlad deserves criticism for Taking this fight, let alone if it goes to 5 rounds. The whole division is messed up with noone wanting to fight each other and phony belts given out (i.e., povetkin) but the klits don't help things with likely low ball offers and being willing to fight any stiff that will take the fight and can get sanctioned (i.e., 41 yr old mormec off of 2 disputed decisions against fringe gatekeepers)

none of those matter anyway because wlad has already beaten haye who knocked out mcormeck, and ali knocked out liston 2 times before he fought patterson...so hard to say anything about that if the argument is the length of time it takes to put someone who when hes already beaten the guy who put him away faster....

 

Get real. Didn't you see the Oquendo and Ibragimov fights? Oquendo and Ibragimov are not punchers, yet both were able to wobble Mormeck in the later rounds.

Vlad is a million times stronger and more powerful than Oquendo and Iggy. What does this tell you???

It is shocking to see how many believe buy into the promotional progaganda that Mormeck can be tough against Vlad.. The guy is IN NO WAY WHATSOEVER a threat to Vlad. No way!
