I don't see how you could keep him out of the top 10 all time. His record would be like 80- 3. That doesn't happen anymore since fighters only fight 2-3 times a year. I don't care how bad the division is, he is dominant as hell.
It won't happen, it's physically impossible. It was just cheap talking, or misinterpretation of his words by journalists.
when you scrape the **** fights off the records of many ATGs, they aren't all that great. Klitschko hasn't defended his title against an opponent with a 0-0-0 record nor has he lost a fight to a fighter with 6 or less fights and he hasn't had a gift decision victory either.
If he keeps up for another 5 years, fighting his mandatories and top 10 rated Ring magazine opponents, I believe he could get #4 on the list, with a little bit of luck.
He won't last 10 more years physically, but five years would put him top three at worst on any sensible list. He's top 10 now.
I've always said he couldn't get into the top 10 because his resume is so weak and lacks a significant memorable win. But if he could remain undefeated and champion until 2024 then he would have to be regarded as top 10 ATG material. But I can't see this happening. The signs of decline are there for all to see. He didn't look as coordinated against Pianeta and when he was trying to take out Povetkin he was stumbling round while chasing his opponent, he looked very awkward.
Continued on for 10 years and continued to beat the same level of opposition? Wlads resume is lacking quality not quantity
