If Wlad-Haye doesn't happen, who should Haye fight next?

Presumably a top ten contender, but which one?

Although I am ready to see Wlad-Haye, this fight could really use some more global buildup on Haye's end. It's too bad the Barrett fight was not available in the US. The guy is a star but he has zero name recognition here. Let him have a nice Boxing After Dark fight and i'm sure the HBO budget would increase for Wlad-Haye. I'd say let him fight the Peter-Chambers winner.

Valuev to get an easy title or Toney just to see James get KOed.

As much fun as it is watching Audley get KTFO'd, it would be better to see him actually FIGHT someone.

Anyone in the Ring Magazine Top Ten. Nothing less. If he is as good as he and his nuthuggers say he is he should have no problem beating a legit top ten Heavyweight.

There's not many available fighters out of the Ring top ten, dude. The ones available, like Maskaev....yea, he's in the ****ing top ten, would never fight him.

Beating Valuev would mean he'd have more aces when it comes to thrashing out a deal with Wlad. WK has always said he wants all the belts. I thought Valuev was off limits just now though cause of the Chagaev affair and proposed Holyfield re-match.

Even if you were joking Toney would maybe make sense. Name recognition and all that bollocks.

Tony Thompson would be a good measuring stick for Haye to see where he stands in the divison. If Haye KO's Tony,it would legitimize his heavyweight rankings while giving him more clout in a future fight with Wald, especially if he could do it quicker than him.If he fights another Barret level fighter ,the public will start losing interest .

Valuev or Chagaev. Possibly Arreola. Winner of Klitschko-Gomez.

How about arreola? They can fight to EARN the right to fight wlad.

Or how about martin rogan? in his own region of the world, and i'm sure he could easly
afford the belfast cabbie. Ya know, the cabbie that just beat harrison and KO'd
    skelton.
