If wlad lost to Tyson fury and fury had a brief title reign how would it affect wlad's standing in the list of former heavyweight greats
Tyson Fury would be called as a "new Ali". Wlad would be remembered as Joe Louis type of fighter. Wlad still in top 10 HW's all time, probably top 3.
Then it all wouldn't matter anymore because the earth would stop turning the moment that happens :bart
When Fury, or anyone, holds the belts for a decade of dominance we'll talk about his greatness. Wlad is an atg whatever.
Fury is not going to be an ATG is and it was not long ago that lots of wlad fan boys on here were suggesting wlad was prime
Big Tyson Fury fan here but he ain't beating Wlad anytime soon , hopefully we get to see this fight and all the comedy stuff in the build up early next year .
OK ..when Ali lost to Spinks ..did it affect our assessment of Ali's greatness?? When Chavez lost to Randall did it affect his 'greatness'? When Holmes lost to Michael Spinks did it affect his 'greatness'? Greatness is an assessment of body of work , not one loss to a lesser mortal Fury does not have the Boxing ability to beat Wlad , however he has the power to KO anyone ..Once in the ring with Wlad he has THAT in his ****nal. If by some bolt of lightening he manages to KO Wlad , and as far remote as it may seem , it can happen ...It should not affect 10 years of domination and his 'greatness'
