Fury is 26 years old, when they going to fight, Klitschko will be at 39, this is 12 years and a half difference. Klitschko is getting older and i dont know how long he can stay at top. Also he is on the big mountain and down there is so much young lions with difference still and motivated to take the crown from him, its not easy. In this 250+ heavy era with so much tactic on it, everything is possible. But the reign of Klitschko was insane, and its more insane as we know hes chin isnt that good, and he cant do nothing about it. Chin is born gift, you cant do much about it, but the thing he can do, he do them perfectly. How many Heavyweights at his years looks so dominant ? Most people here was saying that Pulev is the best after Klitschko and there was a lot of people who say Pulev will beat Klitschko, but Wlad just annihilate him. He beats a lot of undefeated guys, a lot of good boxers like Pulev, Povetkin, prime Thompson, Haye, Samuel Peter who was knocking everybody out, before Klitschko beat him, Chambers, Chagaev, Ibragimov, Brock. Byrd. He is on top for a decade, that cant be erase with 1 lose. Tho i agree Fury can make a legacy for himself if he beat Klitschko, even if he lose, he is so young and he still can become a Champion and make a name for himself.
Wlad has been champion for 9 years. He was already a top10 contender in 2000. He past his best right now. A loss will eventually happen, it should not affect his status.
To me it will be, because Fury is really quite a mediocre heavyweight and there are no signs of Wlad being past his best. Would be shocked it it happens though
It depends on what Fury does with the rest of his career. If Fury goes on to reign as champ for 6 years and beats Wilder, Stiverne, Pulev, Haye, Povetkin, and other top names then it doesn't really effect Wlads legacy at all. However, if Fury loses his first title defense against someone like Shannon Briggs, then goes on to lose against Arreola and Brian Minto then it would be a big tarnish on Wlad's legacy.
Ahhh so you're learning..... Very subtle in your backing of Fury against Wlad, so you don't look like as much of a fool when he gets knocked out.
Old heavyweights lose. Wlad's past the point where getting beat by a top contender hurts his legacy; there's only been a handful of heavyweight champions that old to start with.
No, you can't have it like that. You all say Wlad is at his best now. Fury doesn't even have zero chance. Wlad is too good. blah blah blah.... If he loses to Fury now , its because Fury is better and proves Fury would always be better.
This Wlad lose some speed in his legs, im sure hes cardio isn`t the same, his footwork isnt the same, it cant be at that age and at that weight. He also for sure lose reflexes as well. I dont see how Fury would beat a 2007-2012 Klitschko with Many Steward next to him. Of course we got to wait and see if Fury can beat this Klitschko ....
Wlad is clearly not prime, but he's still very good. It would be quite the accomplishment if Fury managed to beat him.
I take you're point but Ali has a very high level to his body of work where Wladimir has opponent wise a very week body of work
