If Wlad offers Haye 40%........

    Exactly, but like you have said it depends on the other details. If they are offering a 60-40 purse split, but it is in Germany and Wlad gets 100% gate receipts and 50% of UK PPV, then that is grossly unfair and it would be Wlads fault the fight didn't happen.

    If it was 50/50 on gate, 60/40 to Wlad on purse and say Wlad got all the US PPV and Haye all the UK PPV that would fine.

    Put it another way: If Haye offers 50% and Wlad says no...who is to blame?

    thats up in the air. IBF wasnt sure if Povetkin then has to fight again to determine #1 or if Wlad goes down to #2, or #3 the highest number available... but there are also clauses that state Unification trumps any mand fight.... im sure the lawyers will have a lot of work to do:good

    Im sure 40% of a wlad Haye fight will be far more then ANY other fight Haye would have. Is there any doubt about that with all that is happening between them?

    what?..you think Haye will be the promoter on this fight?....:nut NO WAY. Haye will want Wlad to promote it and pay for everything..promotional TV, all pressers with travel ETC.. Just like the last time wlad had to secure the stadium. Haye wasnt on the hook for the stadium...wlad was

    Wlad has two of the big four titles, and has held them for much longer than Haye has held his single title.

    That fact right there warrants Wlad getting more than Haye. Not to mention, Wlad will be the biggest drawer power in this fight, titles or not.

    thats small peanuts compared to what Wlad-haye would be... pressers all over the world..off the hook promotions etc. Huge costs for it. **** Haye wouldnt/couldnt even secure the stadium last fight... what makes you think he would want to take on a promotion of this size?

    I hate to burst any one's bubble, but Haye shouldn't even be in line for Wlad.
    He needs a signature fight--not the Valuev snorefest--to qualify.

    I can name 5 fighters that would TKO him within 6- 10 rounds.

    I voted Wlad only because it's pretty obvious where Booth and Haye have made their stand as far as the share is concerned. So if Wlad offers Haye 40% and there's no counter-offer to try getting closer to giving Haye 50% then I will blame him. Regardless of whether it's fair. Wlad wants Haye now, and it seems Haye will play hard to get.

    Not being funny Chef but i think im right in saying Wlad offered Haye 38% before? Surely now he has a belt that Wlad wants and how big a star Haye has become(trust me he has in the UK)he should be worth 45% min imo.

    The fight will make an absolute fortune and if Wlad really wants Haye ad bad as he makes out he should just agree to 45/50%. it will still be more money than hes ever made before in a fight.
