http://www.telegraph.co.uk/boxing/2...uld-become-first-billionaire-boxer-meet-team/ Someone knock this man out please...
Vlad will be, by far, the best fighter Joshua has ever fought, even at age 41, Vlad looked awesome in training for the Fury rematch and would have knocked Fury out. I know why Vlad lost that fight................Vlad sure outclassed Joshua in sparring badly, no contest. Joshua will remember that in the back of his mind. If Joshua loses the fight it will not hurt his career, it will only help it..................if Vlad is interested in winning this fight, he will win. People forget how talented Vlad really is and Vlad never drinks alcohol, takes drugs, does not party, he has always stayed in shape his entire career.......................I suspect Vlad will be ready for this fight. Joshua is prepared to lose this fight because he knows how good Vlad really is, but Joshua will be rich after the fight win, lose or draw, so he would take the loss very well........................
I've warmed up a bit to Joshua but he has become overrated. To what degree is up for debate, but he's certainly crossed that threshold. Look at it this way... Joshua's recent step up in class and string of crushing wins over C and B level fighters isn't any better than Arreola has accomplished over the years. You can argue Arreola was facing more dangerous competition on the way as well. A much younger Molina, Travis Walker is also a fighter with an X-Factor, a really nuclear puncher you had to be careful with. Minto, McCline, Abell, Chazz Witherspoon, Seth Mitchell, Quezada, Aguilera. Those are really, on average, damn near close to carbon copies of the kind of opposition Joshua has been blowing through. I'm going to have to see a bit more of a step up before I buy into his true potential.
probably coz we have only seen one person hit AJ in the face and that was in a British title fight, looks like hes going to be great but you cant say he is when hes beating school teachers
I think it all depends on how he loses to Wladimir. If he gets thoroughly destroyed, it could do a number to his confidence level moving forward. If it's a competitive matchup and he loses, I would chalk it up to a great learning experience for a relatively green fighter. It really all depends on how competitive their fight turns out. For a guy with less than 20 pro bouts, this is a serious step up in competition. I didn't think Hearn would actually green light this match for AJ so soon in his career. Kudos to them for making this fight happen!
