I really enjoy the 24/7 shows and so far haven't missed any of them. Lets say Wlad Haye fight comes off, what are the chances of us seeing a 24/7 for a heavyweight fight? Next to none? I think a fight of that magnitude should at least get a countdown. Something tells me that this event would be treated as "just a fight" because it might not even be on Pay Per Poo. In any cause, electryfying fight such as this could definately have a lets say a 2 part 24/7 series. Which could really give the fighters the much needed exposure. BTW Calzaghe VS Jones was not that bad of a 24/7 show, I acutally enjoyed it quite a bit.

1.) Haye has as much American television exposure as I do
2.) Klitschko has the marketability of a lawn mower

With those facts in mind, I doubt it.

So basically DLH vs Forbes deserves a 24/7 and Haye Kilt doesnt?

I disagree with both points btw. Haye is huge in the UK and Klit is marketable world wide. Its hard even for the US fighters to draw in the butts in the seats.

De La Hoya/Forbes got a countdown show, not a 24/7 series. And De La Hoya got a countdown show because he's Oscar De La Hoya. HBO would produce a countdown show for De La Hoya if he fought his sister.

But where did you get the impression that Haye is huge in the UK? The average person on the streets of London would have no clue who David Haye is. What would be the point of a 24/7 with a fighter who nobody in the US even knows about?

Klitschko could be marketable worldwide, but so far he's only reached that status in countries such as Germany and Ukraine.

I don't think they'd get a countdown, Haye isn't established enough a name in America and hasn't done enough at HW to warrant it. But among us hardcore boxing fans it is a big match up.

dont mind what he is saying he is just a hater....wlad is one of the most popular world wide boxers there is, his bros. ran for the mayor of kiev for god sake ..how much more mainstream can u get... alot of americans think if they dont know or like him that the rest of the world doeesnt either.... Haye is very big, for an up and comer boxer, in england....

Well in that case K2 promotions and Haymaker promotions can get together and put something together of their own and let HBO broadcast it. They will have to promote the fight with more then just words and pressers.

YES,,,,,,,,,,,But, Hays would have to fight about three fights on HBO, before that show down, which what warren should be trying to set up right now anyways, that is if he is his promter. HBO likes the bros. an if they get someone like a hays, with a little more exposer they get it.......but right now i don't see it.

Almost no chance. Outside of the boxing world, no one knows them. Of course, this fight will definitely get a countdown show. It will probably not even be a PPV fight.

I wouldnt say Haye is big over here, the casual boxing fan know who he is, and a big sports fan will too, but thats about it, although his stock is rising, so hopefully that will soon change.

I would be happy with a short little well written countdown, that would be enough for me.
