ridiculous thread, I don't even like Wlad (thanks to his annoying fan base) BUT him being 6'2 or 6'3 would NOT have made much difference.

He'd also be more co-ordinated, faster, more explosive, better balance, better agility etc so perhaps he would be a 6'3 white Muhammad Ali with a better grip on the fundamentals!

This is ridiculous. Of course Wlad would be a different boxer, probably worse because his style depends on his height.

The same would happen to most heavyweights.

    blah, blah, blah...
Ali with Wlad's chin had never been close to be considered "the greatest"
Lennox 3 or 4 inches shorter...
    Foreman without his power...
    Holmes with short arms...
And the list goes on and on and on....

    And the other way round...
Herbie Hide with an iron chin, David Tua at 6' 6", SNV with skill, Axel Schultz with punching power, Andrew Golota with sanity...

People forget that back in the 70's ali was Wladimir Klitschko.
He was a very big man for the day, not the biggest, but still big.
There was the same height and weight deifference between ali vs Patterson as there were between Wladimir vs Haye, plus ali had a greater reach advantage over Patterson than Wladimir had over Haye.

David Haye was one of Waldimir's smaller opponents.
But the Patterson size fighter was the most common type that Ali fought...

If he was 3 - 4 inches shorter maybe he'd box a completely different style? Maybe he boxes as he does because if he tried to use more angles or punch variety to look more "entertaining" he'd become less effective. Maybe a shorter Wlad would throw combos and be even faster?
