Making him shorter won't change anything if he was 6'2". He's still FASTER than other heavyweights, he's still more skilled than other heavyweights, AND his power is freakishly better than most heavyweights.

Yeah, he fights like a coward, but you can't really blame him for that after getting his ass kicked by journeymen early in his career.

Don't tell me that Valuev and Dimitrenko are better than Wladimir just because they are taller than Wlad.

Chambers beat a man an inch taller than Wlad in Dimitrenko after all.

 

well he is not a great fighter yet I should say. His size has so many advantages. he outweighs the guys by so much. If he only weighed the same as the guys he fought it would be even, regardless of height. But who can be hit by someone that big?

"Sour Grapes" by another Klitschko hater. Vlad has fought Austin, 6 feet 6 inches tall, Derrick Jefferson, 6'6", Thompson 6'6", Bostice 6' 5", etc. Vlad has great skills. Vlad won the gold medal in the 1996 Olympics and that was in the superheavyweight division!!!!!!!

Simply pull up the heralded list of past gold medal winners, from any weight class, and you can easily find that the guys populating the list are all highly skilled fighters. This massive skill that I speak of was acquired by every single former gold medal winner before even stepping foot in the ring for their first professional fight. Klitschko's skills were off the charts well before most here had even heard the name. In other words, Klitschko's skills are old news.

This whole thread is ridiculous. If you stop and think for a minute you'll realize that Wlad and Vitali are extremely athletic and mobile for their size. When they're fighting a smaller fighter their always the superior athlete, which is amazing. It's like Lebron, who is as fast and mobile as a lot of much smaller point guards.

And not only are they the best athletes when they're in the ring, they're also the best boxers. Wlad is the one that gives angles, not his opponents. Vitali is the one that is timing his opponents moves, not the other way around. Vitali is a 6'8" counterpucher, for christ's sake! That's incredibly impressive in and of itself.

Having said that, you can't really be on the edge of your seat for a Klitchko fight, because they have every advantage over virtually every opponent. The only weak point is Wlad's chin, which gives his opponents a puchers chance, if only they could hit him...

 

Disagee, ya could make Wlad 12 inches shorter and he would probably beat every american heavyweight fighting at the moment.
