I can't believe you guys are such mugs .kiltschko is just going through the motions. He wanted out of the press conference this is just a last pay check before he packs it in .he will run like a thief in the fight and try and get out without getting beat up.fury has got his number Vlad wouldn't look at him acted like a naughty school boy in front of the head master.you optimistic types that think Vlad is going to roll back the years are going to be disappointed.

Wladimir also fought in NYC against Sultan Ibragimov. It was regarded by many as the worst HW fight the division had ever seen at that point. Even Steward himself (r.i.p.) is on record as being critical of that fight.

I actually attended the Wlad-By By Jennings fight at MSG. Prior to the fighters coming to the ring, Jennings's camp delayed proceedings over Wladimir's locker room handwrap inspection. It all got sorted and the fight went on. I was expecting Wladimir to KO Jennings -- he was never close to managing it, but he didn't look faded or "old" at all in that fight. He looked like his usual self, fully prepped and conditioned.

The ref was a lot more proactive, despite there still being too much holding in my honest opinion. The way Jennings was attempting to score points in such an awkward manner lead to both fighters ending up in close quarters. Holding and clinches were abundant.

 

He doesn't have to "roll back any years" -- he needs to throw punches. :bbb

 

Wlad's not the type of guy to throw it though unless he's 100% sure nothing's coming back his way.

 

So you can acknowledge that previous greats go through the ravaging of age and wear n tear but you can't accept that Klitschko can reach that point, even at 40? Wlad is obviously past his best but it don't jive with your hate filled mindset which only ever looks to discredit.

People picked a washed up Wlad over Fury because Fury is mediocre.

Even washed up greats can lose to mediocre opponents e.g. Ali-Spinks

 

You do realise the only reason Fury is acting disinterested and talking like he'll retire is in case he loses, yes?

It's easy to be the mouthy challenger, it's much more difficult to be the guy putting it all on the line.
