So... since Wlad is too dominant ove rhis opponents, he is less of a legend? Not in history he won't be. Wlad will get his credit after he retires. Until then... he will have to deal with critics who don't understand the point of boxing. Hit and don't get hit.

That logic makes no sense at all.

Wladimir has to be in a life and death fight for him to be great?

As of right now Wladimir has completely dominated very single opponent in all his defenses and has Definitively stopped all of them without hardly losing a round.

Is it Wlad's fault that he is the only HW with ATG skills right now?

    Ridiculous reasoning

The thread makes perfect sense. If Wladimir was in more exciting fights, he would have more fans, and therefore be a bigger draw. It's common sense, really.

Wlad already is a big draw... he already has a lot of fans. The only reason that his fights aren't exciting to some people, is because they don't appreciate the true art of boxing. They are more into street fights than seeing a master boxer at work. Those aren't the kind of fans that have an impact on how a fighter is remembered in history.

I notice a distinct lack of Ali or Holmes fights.

Lewis - Vitali was a completely different animal. Two evenly matched monsters beating each other senseless, there's no one out there today that can put up that kind of fight against Wlad and you can't blame him for it.

that Cooney KO of Norton was about as brutal as it can get. Cooney's left hook had unreal power behind it.

I don't think Wlad has the Chin to be in any wars like those fights were that you listed.

They act as if he is boring to watch. He has a high workrate and when he dominates he looks impressive as hell. You would think he did nothing but potshot and punch and grab.

Anyone remember "Hugging" Henry Akiwande? That was a boring and frustrating ******* to watch.

Jesus christ, Wlad turned in a killer performance, made Rahman into mincemeat and domintated every minute of every round, looked every bit the champion should look in utterly dominating a late mandatory. Looked effortless.

And all everyone does is ***** about it. :verysad
