If Wladimir beats Wilder, Stiverne, Fury, Jennings & Pulev, is he a top 10 ATG HW?

He's not going to fight his brother. His mom who both brother's obviously respect forbad that at an early age. I believe Vitali broke Wlad's leg in a particularly vicious sparring session and mother Klitschko put a stop to that.

 

He had a decade of dominance, prevented a whole generation of heavyweights from leaving an impact. Without a doubt historically one of the greatest heavyweights of all time. Making a "top list" is subjective so I'll leave it at that.

 

I think he's top 10 and he deserves more credit than he gets. As far as top heavyweights go, the bunch from the 90's would have to be ranked pretty high. If you threw Joe Frazier in with old Foreman, Lewis, Tyson, Holyfield, and Bowe I think it would get pretty ugly for little Joe. I know everyone loves the old guys, but I've seen the videos and the fact of the matter is they fought a lot of guys who would be janitors now. Not saying the heavyweight division is good now, it sucks, but Wlad doesn't.

 

Do you count WBO **** belt defenses when Lennox was the man and Wlad nobody :huh

 

Vladimir Klitschko is the best heavyweight in the world today, he will knock Stiverne or Wilder out. He will also knock Fury, Jennings and the rest out...........

 

I honestly do not see anyone beating Klitschko at this point in time.

Frazier is 1 in 5 vs. great fighters. Hardly impressive and nothing that would qualify him for the top 10. Schmeling beat Louis - arguably the greatest HW of all time - and how many Americans list him in the top 10? Frazier is IMO heavily overrated by fans, obviously mostly in the US.

Do you rate Jimmy Young, too? What about Oliver McCall? I didn't think so. A single win doesn't get you ranked amont the top 10.

I'd have him 6 or 7 if he beat all of those, pretty wishful thinking that he'll fight all 5 before he retires though.

 

He will only ever fight one of those guys . Not both.

Both camps of Wlad and Fury have admitted Wlad will never fight him. If Wlad fights Fury he gets knocked out. It will never happen. Wlad will duck Fury into retirement.

Whats an 18 fight novice hypejob going to do for anybody's legacy? His punch output is as bad as the Kingpin Johnson. He's not going any where.

Wlad is going to worm his way out of that fight.

So all this actually moves him down the legacy ladder and not up it.

 

What has Wlad ever done thats the equivalent of what Frazier done to Ali?

When has he ever fought a grueling, hellacious paced, toe -toe-battle against a fellow ATG over 15 rounds and won?

When Wlad was taken into a brawl by an average guy like Sanders , he couldn't last more than 1 and a half round.

Frazier was 3 time fighter of the year, fought in the greatest fights of all time, beat the greatest of all time and destroyed other durable hall of famers through sheer guts and skill, with never a single foul

What awards does Wlad have?-None. What hall of famers did he beat?-None.
What great fights did he have?-None.
Wlads fights are the worst of all time.

Frazier's record is paper thin. Exciting fights don't rank you among the 10 greatest boxers in your division. What's Gatti's ATG rank exactly?

Myself, I am not placing Wlad among the top 10 at this point. But there's no way anyone in their right mind can place Marciano or Frazier in front of Wlad.

 

Losing to Ali and Foreman is better than losing to Purrity , Brewster and Sanders.
