While being very dominant at HW for quite some time, Wladimir has to be one of the most boring champions of all time. All he does is jab. I remember one fight a few years back when Manny was getting furious with him because he'd jab once or twice than do absolutely nothing for the next 30 seconds of the round. His size and power have been able to keep him at the top of his division, well that and the fact that he fights in the most diluted/weakest HW division of ALL time.

Wlad can deliver KO unlike Floyd who likes riding his bike.

Are KO's all that matter in boxing?

And if you didn't notice, there were many instances in the fight where Floyd would stand directly in front of Alvarez and pick him apart like it's no ones business. When he changes to moving in and out and moving to create angles of attack, it shows how versatile he can be in the ring. Versatility is something Wlad doesn't even know exists.

If it dosent end with a KO it dosent matter.

If there isnt a knock in the fight, it dosent count.

    Spoken like a true casual.

You're not a fan of boxing, you're a fan of people getting knocked out.

Go watch a highlight reel or something.

Outside of the US Mayweather is completely irrelevant. No TV stations were showing his fight in continental Europe. No casual sports fan in Europe has ever heard of Mayweather.

People over here are in disbelief when they see his name in the top 10 grossing global athletes list.

Versatility is a skill borne out of necessity. Floyd has a defensive style that demands versatility.

Foreman, Frazier, Tyson were as one-dimensional as they get, they had zero versatility but they were successful. It didn't hurt their legacy one bit neither will it hurt Wlad's.

Since always. Everybody know Tyson and Ali.

The Heavyweight division has always and will always be the Glamour division and the biggiest price in the sport.

Just beacuse it is dead over in America, sure dosent mean it is dead in Europe.

But it hasn't been in recent times, except for Europe I suppose.

You claim it isn't in North America. What about anywhere else in the world that isn't Europe? Don't try to imply that I consider the US the centre of the world when it comes to sports when you're trying to pull the same ****.

You're an idiot, accept it. It's not like HW is the only division in which knockouts happen.

You live in Canada and the Heavyweight division sure is not alive up there.

In Europe it is very much alive. But when USA keeps riding Floyds bike, then ofcourse the Heavyweight division is getting no TV time.

Look guys, Floyd is a great boxer. He deserves all the respect, he's IMO one of of the greatest 100 boxers who have ever lived.

What I can't stand is the BS Americans write that you have to be "exciting" to be on US TV. That's just BS. If you're American you don't have to fight exciting fights and you'll still be on US TV. Mayweather and Hopkins are the living proof.
