So you are saying Vitali is NOT the 2nd best heavyweight in the division??

Some say HE is THE BEST in the division.

The difference with RJ and Dm, is that RJ tried to get Dm in the ring, and Dm gave up belts not to fight top opposition.

The fact is, and this is fact not up for interpretation, that Wlad is not the undisputed champion.

He has not fought the 2nd best heavyweight in the division for over 5 years.

Joe Louis on the other hand, was and did.

That does not bode well for Holmes and Louis.

With the amount of injuries hes been having i wonder how long he will make it

plus he may pull a Gene Tunney and retire with the lack of good contenders

I'm saying vitali's not the best available challenger since he's made himself unavailable and unwilling to challenge.

Dm was stripped for not fighting twice in a month and for having a picture taken.

Yes wlad and jones have spent 5 years at the top without facing the consensus number two.

However I class both as great champions because both unified 4 of the 5 belts, both fought the majority of contenders bar number 2, both broke the p4p lists and both look unbeatable when prime.

I hope Wladimir becomes more active, and fights at least 3 times per year.

He fought only once in 2009, twice in 2010, and then once in 2011. There were times when he was injured, but he also went through many months of being healthy and not fighting.

Depends how one looks at it. Compared to the cost of living of the day, the early heavyweights of the 60s, 70s and 80s probably did better.

I agree to some degree but there weren't as many different belts back then either. :deal Less politics from the promoters too, just saying.

    That is universum spin.

He dropped the belts not to face Guthrie.

What does matter that Wlad has not faced the number two guy in a long time. He has not cleaned out the division, and is not the unified champion.

And Wlad looks very beatable. In fact he has been beaten. A few times.

Jones however was not in his prime, other than a DQ loss to guy that was out when the fight ended. Which he avenged. Another thing Wlad has never done.

Again, the word is INBRED. Not INBREED.

And there are not many rednecks from nothern California..

But again, this is the typical kilt fan nuthugger response.

Rule 3 from their "Klitschkoland Guidbook".

After being throughly schooled on a topic, resort to diversionary personal attacks. Try to include racism whenever possible.

Way to stick to the guidebook.

And next time try to get your petty insult correct. It really devalues the quality of your ad hominem attack when you incorrectly use the lingo.

I would say that Klitschko vs. Brewster II should qualify as avenging a loss. And I disagree about him looking "very beatable." You state that he has been beaten a few times. True, but the last time was in 2004, I say again, 2004.

Fair point about Brewster. I forgot about that one.

As for beatable, since his Sanders loss, the quality of his opposition has gone down dramatically. And in some of the fights he has looked borderline pathetic. (Haye fight for example.) My guess is he will stay away from the big punchers and let Vitali have those and keep on trucking.

So you are saying that Vitali is not a champion. If you are I admire you, you would be the first.

So then YOU, by your standards could honestly rank Wlad in the top 20 heavies of all time and Vitali would be out of the discussion.

    Fair?
