It certainly looks as if wlads career is over now, at least his best wins. So now lookin back who, at his peak, does wlad defeat? The best heavyweights you can imagine wlad beats? Lineal champ s only.

I think it's within his scope to beat any of them.

Who he should be favoured over ... that's another question.

There's some guys that I think his younger version would do better against (eg Ali) than his more cautious older version.

Frazier is in most peoples top 10 and i can see Wlad beating him for sure with some friendly refereeing. Norton also, not sure if he counts.

Yup if Wlad gets the ref he had for Povetkin there's few if any "little" heavyweights with a chance.

That said, he didn't clinch that much against Chagaev iirc and he handled him like a boss.

Wlad could beat any one of them in theory. The timing of the fight means a lot. For example, Wlad would badly punish Ali post-Minella, and of the same to Louis post-WW II.

Few could out box him, and he's got a puncher chance if behind with skills. The shot he nailed Joshua with, I think would give say Lennox Lewis either a 10 count or a TKO loss if he got up in the same round.

Yep, just curious as to how people see him doing now against the other champs. He may or may not fight again but I think we can put him up against some of the best and see what happens. I'm sure he beats a fair few whilst some of the top boys would have ko'd him.
