but it is. so its a rather moot point. Two shaky chins and both with tremendous power.

Haye doesn't have to flat out ko wlad to win, a TKO is far more likely.

In addition, if Haye puts Wlad on his ass 3 times I expect he'd easily win enough rounds to take it on points.

So intrigued to see how both fighters approach this tactically. Haye has to know he needs to be more aggressive then he was against SNV. How will Wlad approach someone that actually moves around the ring!?!?

If you look at the Sanders fight he took a succession of heavy blows before going down, so his chin isn't glass and he did get back up unlike Lewis verses Rahman.

Also, put Haye in there would he have been able to get up 4 times against Sanders? Very doubtful.....

Ruiz was "huggy bear" most of his career after Tua. In the Haye fight, and actually the fight before that...Ruiz had changed his style a bit...back closer to pre Tua.

ts has a very good point. wlad showed he did not have a weak chin in the first peter fight as he took great shots and persevered to win and almost ko'd peter in the 12th.

i know many people here do not like dwyer but he outlines how many handicappers view this fight.

a haye ko played with a wk win is the best way to win money. this fight wont go to a draw and the chances of haye winning a decision in germany are almost zero.

Against Sanders, Wlad was rendered useless after the first knockdown. Props to him for trying to get up, but it's not like he wasn't finished at that point. You could say the same about the first Brewster fight. Yes Wlad tries to continue, but after he is hurt, his body stops responding in any way conducive to continuing.

This idea that Wlad can not be outboxed is not true. He can. Sanders was outboxing him. Beating him to the punch. Of Course, he had some size and reach that Haye does not. However, with the proper strategy, Haye can win some rounds.
Imagine some rounds with minimal activity, and then at the end, Haye rushes in with a quick flurry. He might get that round on the cards.
Furhtermore; as you pointed out, if Wlad gets knocked down and gets up; that's still a 10-8 round. Think about the first Peter fight. If Peter won an extra round or two, he would have won, due to those knockdowns giving him some points. So If Haye can socre a knockdown or two, and perhaps steal a few rounds, it's quite possible to see a Haye win by decision.

The real problem for Haye is Haye's chin! He's got to protect his chin just as much as Wlad, possibly moresoe because Wlad is the bigger man.

I agree with you. Getting up when hurt is a good heart showing. When going down from crap punches that's a weak chin. Guys who don't have issues with chins are those guys, when hit with a massive power punches they stay up, and their legs doesn't go jelly.

Look at Corrie Sanders vs Vitalij, he took so many hard punches but never went down, that's a guy with no chin issues.

to Boxing Domain : In your case Haye doesn't have a chin issue either

i dont believe this..a bad chin is gettin laid out on your ass (with not a huge punch) and not being able to get back up,as every1 knows you can have all the heart in the world if u get caught ur not getting up...i personally think wlads case of being down so much was balance issues look at the majority of them all when he was caught off balance...many fighters go down off balance..

Wlad has a Glass Jaw. You are deluded if you believe otherwise.

Watch the fight... Sanders uses movement, and takes away Wlad's jab. He counters him, avoids shots. It was not for very long, but Snaders was finding a home for punches, and Wlad was missing. For that 2 and a half minutes, he was outboxing Wlad. Then, once Sanders landed a nice hard counter, he went into finishing mode. At that point Wlad was done. This is not too relevant to the Haye vs Wlad fight, but it is an instance where Wald was being outclassed on the outside.

that was like a decade ago I think WK has improved a lot since than. Haye is not going to outbox WK and there is no way he is winning on points.

if Wlads chin isnt an issue? its never been Wlads chin, I know I have talked alot of **** about his chin, but lets be real here, both Sanders and Brewster were big big bangers and the work that both did would have taken out any heavyweight.

The real issue with Wlad is his self beleif, he gets discouraged when he finds himself in that type of slug out... and mentally caves, I think the Peter fight proved that in which he was dropped three times but got up went back to the game plan and won a close fight.

So to answer this question, if Wlads chin isnt an issue how does haye win? really simple,

If Haye can not drop Wlad he has to at the very least have enough pop to Keep Wlad guessing to make Wlad glove shy... he is going to have to use his size, thats right be the smaller man stay small, bend those Knees and make Wlad look for you, I also think it would be best that Haye does not use the ring as much as he did for Valuev.

IMO Haye just needs to come in low, run his shots off step around and do it again, Now when Wlad goes to grab you, keep your arms in tight (This will leave wlad to bear hug you) then roll out and come backup with a counter...

if Wlad gets to holding on to Haye and gets Leaning on him and pushing him down, a bad sign for haye would be to resist being leaned on, meaning pushing back, if he does that he will expend energy and fade half way through the fight...

if Wlad is going to grab him or lean on him, Haye has to be a ghost that night, Be there but dont there.....
