Whats the point in him continuing to fight against these bums who dont deserve their rankings in the first place, it does nothn for Wlad but put money in the bank. If he wont fight Vitali then what else is there, a rematch with Chagaev once he wins a boring decision against lumbering Valuev for the WBA belt! Nah, just retire or fight the number 1 contender. Never before in history has a "Champion" had a pass on fighting the next best guy in the division, that is why Klit will never be acknowledged as THE Champ.

They are not bums - Wlad just makes them look like one...

    BIG DIFFERENCE!!!

Chagaev beat Savon twice in the amateurs for god's sake!

A long time ago. Since then he has fought Hepatitis, injury and in the last couple of fights fought 2 bums called Skelton and Drummond to boring decisions without looking like anythn special. The guy got his chance at a money fight before he retires which is what he was thinking of doing when out for a year before his previous fight. The only other guy he fought was Ruiz, can we count the lumbering Valuev, come on, Wlad gains no prestige fighting safe over these guys.

Hey Suge, what's up? I enjoyed the last show, I am looking forward to call in again tomorrow.
Yeah, Chagaev has probably slowed down a bit, but you have to admit that Wlad was lightning fast (which is amazing for a 6'6 240lbs guy). Chagaev is by no means a bum, he is still a world class HW, the illness didn't have anything to do with him being outclassed, he probably had the hep anti gene even back in the amateurs. Chag would have been competitve with every other HW in the world, just not Wlad (and his bro).

Still, I was a bit disappointed with Wlad's performance, he is a master at what he does, but he is no Jimi Hendrix (if you know what I mean). He could have improvised a lot more, Chag was begging to get hit by an uppercut, he could have added a few not so straight shots, more left hooks.
The only guys who would make Wlad uncomortable in the ring are Haye and Arreola.
