If you appreciate All time greatness, you cheer for Floyd. If not, you cheer for Pac.

Nope. My post is irrefutable fact though, the overwhelming vast majority of people who frequent this forum consider you to be a nuisance.

I don't care who wins. Both of them the ring is enough for me.

I'l be happy for whoever wins as long as they are they better man on the night and there is no controversy.

I would be inclined to root for Floyd if since being No.1 in the sport of boxing he only sought the toughest challenges

    Fact is he hasn't

So in that case I will root for the underdog

Sport is not about taking the easy root and following the best, it's about those with flaws overcoming huge challenges

Floyd hasn't faced anyone great, arguably the greatest he has faced in JMM.. that's pretty sad.

competition in boxing is coming down and it can be explained. I believe less and less athletes are opting for boxing when they can try out other sports that don't require you to get punched in the head. Also, the sports popularity has been declining, this combines for a checkmate on the sport.

Look at heavyweight division, Wlad is great but the rest are jokes. Floyd himself hasn't had any great rivals; i mean, seriously sad that arguably the greatest he's faced is Marquez. The rest are mediocre - Guerrero, ortiz, Maidana, Judah etc... I would say his greatest rivals to date have been JMM and Cotto. Canelo is a nobody to me, he has a draw, barely got past Lara and hasn't had any great wins. He's overhyped cause of looks and he being Mexican.

This will be the FIRST TIME IN HIS CAREER that Floyd will face a GREAT. Manny Pacquiao is the ONLY fighter who has been considered P4P kind for years during Floyd era, no-one else. He's an 8 division world champion and has too much talent for his own good (doesn't quite know who to maximize it). So we shall see what Floyd will do when he faces the first great boxer in his entire career, at 38. The 0 in the 47-0 is an illusion, it should be commended but it doesn't make him great.
