Good skills and fundamentals will take you a long way in boxing. Of course speed and natural talent is a great God given gift, but if you can become a textbook boxing professor and do things by the book you can get the timing and defense down that negates that speed and it will make for a longer carrer when that speed diminishes.

You got that right. Oscar had to sellout. His skills were diminishing.

like someone mentioned prior, spirit. pacman is just oozing of that and the rest, speed, strength, stamina, and skill will follow if they have a strong spirit

Speed of course. If the fighter has the desire you can learn strength, skills, and stamina. Speed is a God given ability and is something that gives you an edge, especially in the amateurs.

In terms of natural ability I'd go with speed. Speed = power Speed = reflexes (getting out of the way). Skill, Stamina and Strength can be devloped around speed.
