Yeah i know, they'll match you against people that actually have some skill. If you wanna be a Superstar, Top Rank is the best choice. You get set up with easy to hit fighters with a series of catchweights and way past their prime fighters and everyone will think you are UNTOUCHABLE.

You're dumb, Top Rank knows how to build up prospects in the proper way whereas GBP still hasn't quite figured it out, it has nothing to do with Top Rank feeding their prospects lesser fighters than what GBP do.

Build up is a clever way of saying set-up. I agree, Top Rank will take a talented prospect a feed him gatekeepers forever before putting him him with some lions. Example: Alvarez and Chavez Jr....who has the better resume. Alvarez has fought way better competition (although nothing spectacular) but Chavez Jr. has been fighting chumps for years. I get that you and several other posters have an issue or hate towards GBP, but seriously....

I have no issues with GBP or any promotional outlet.....You're reaching papa. And my post was "historically speaking" with Top Rank's ability to build up prospects such as how they build up De La Hoya,Money May and Cotto. Granted Top Rank did get lucky cause those 3 fighters have elite level skills to make TR look better but the parallel on how they brought those 3 fighters along were all the same.

And I agree that TR would have kept Ortiz, Kirkland, Khan, Juan diaz and many more still undefeated by now. But i just believe that after a certain amount of fights, getting fed to the Lions, either make you a better fighter or allows you to leave the sport because you never had what it takes. Example...where has Juan Diaz gone after his series of ass-whoopins'. Linares will come back better because he has serious skill. Alvarez is well-tested (not ready for FMJ yet). Kirkland, Ortiz will all get better. As for TR fighters...Brandon Rios will CRASH AND BURN HARD!

FACT: GBP hasn't build up a prospect from scratch to superstar status. They're still in the dark on how to do it.

GBP has a looong history of this - sink or swim mentality with developing fighters. Another recent fighter was Jacobs vs Pirog, and you could make an argument they nearly did it with Seth Mitchell vs Ibragimov.

But I remember when they finished off Bojado's career. Man the potential with that guy was unreal. Super fights with Pac, Hatton, Marquez, Cotto.... They also had no idea how to develope D.Hopkins.
