Brilliant and talented fighter in his prime, just as dominant over his opposition as any other at their best IMO.

Certainly not the best H2H ever though as far as I'm concerned, but definitely ranks very highly.

Hopkins looked so amazing in that fight, I just hope Jones can dispose of that fraud Calzaghe.

The scorecards were 120-107 three times, so technically it was a shutout, despite McCallum making some rounds very competitive and tricky for Jones.

    A QUESTION TO THOSE POSTING:

Has anyone ever went 10 years losing less rounds in the process????

Wlad off the top of my head, but he has losses which RJJ of course didn't over the ten year span.

    Not Wlad's fault.

Wlad has fought the best he could minus a few fighters and RJJ in the same manner.

But I am not comparing that and it isn't the issue. The OP asked a question, I came up with an answer. Aside from the two, I am curious if they are anymore because I don't think so in the modern era.

Greater than Hopkins, than Mayweather, than Lewis, than De la Hoya, etc.

    One of the greatest ever.

Quality work as usual my friend.

If you add up the number of rounds he lost via your post, it does come to less than the number of fights he had in that period.

    That is just insane!

    Great thread :good

Yes. What ATG people ignore is outright dominance; this should be reflected in ATG rankings. Same goes for Vitali.

There's no way Wlad lost as few rounds in his last 28 fights or his last 10 years as RJJ, plus the 3 stoppage losses rule him out anyway.

Duran fought alot of great fighters but he didnt beat many of them...I for one think that Duran is the most over rated fighter of all times.

Then you don't have a very deep knowledge or understanding of Duran's career.
