the plan was suppose to fight at 135 and get a title there but pac made a little change and decided to stay at 130 for just one fight to get jmm's lineal belt. so pac fighting diaz was already planned way before the jmm rematch but only at that time that jmm was ready to rematch pac again after turning him down 4 years before.

well, enough of this ducking talk, jmm now has a very good offer, what should he do? should he take it slowly by getting belts at 140 for minimal earnings or should he go straight to glory and try to beat the best and earn the biggest payday of his life which he rightfully deserves?

    Bogotazo Already summed it well.

Take GBP offer, get a career defining win against judah that nice 4th title & build your resume... Earn Monies along the way in a 3-4 fight... Finish with a farewell fight with PAC late 2012... as by then the wars and age may have taken an unforeseen toll on PACQUIAO something that JMM can exploit as Pac has exploited correct timing with his fights.

this is just plain ******ed thinking. jmm has already an offer now, what more of an increase chance are you talking? it's basically up to jmm if he wants to fight pac or to fight lesser fighters in judah.

so basically jmm has to repeat his formula back then? hold back a confrontation with pac and fight him when you are ready? well i can respect this since jmm is not yet proven at 140. if he gets a belt at 140, then a fight with pac will have more merit and it's better for pacquiao. but i am talking here about jmm's legacy and what is best for him.

also, waiting for pac to slow down already has been copyrighted by someone else. jmm should find a different formula before thinking of fighting pacquiao.

fair enough. i just wish jmm the best in whichever path he chose.

note: it's worth noting that most people are now voting the pacquiao path just because of the new offer from TR which was $5M for a third pacquiao fight and a much bigger purse if he ever beats pac for a rematch. honestly, the offer is just too good to refuse right now unless GBP offers jmm the judah fight for let's say at least $3M which imo is impossible if GBP would want to make a good profit.

He should fight a few times at 140, and get a title there, and by then Pac/Marquez will be at the end of their careers and they should have one last fight vs each other and retire.
