    Which would u prefer?

    1. Fighting Cotto at 147 for a chance at 7 division championship or;
    2. Fighting Mayweather at catchweight for the most money.

    . . . I'll fight JMM for the third time at 140.
. . . then fight 147 lbers (if they are willing to fight at a catch weight)
. . . let PBF open his mouth for all he wants but don't fight him until PBF realize . . . he doesn't need him because has the #1 ranking and see what PBF does. :D

i think his only real option is fighting cotto at 147 because i doubt mayweather and arum would agree on the money and weight. with that said it would be a bad choice as well since cotto would beat him decisively.

Fighting Mayweather, not only for the money, but also and not in the least
for the boost it would give him in his already impressive ATG ranking. A win
over Mayweather does more for his resume than a win over Cotto.

He doesn't have to go up to 147 and lose his P4P ranking there . . . he can just fight 140 lbers until he retires.

. . . Pac doesn't need that much money now . . . just cash in on what ever fight he can get at 140. :deal

Yup . . . but if PBF keeps bitching and the fight wouldn't happen who has more loss? :deal

yeah i know he doesn't have to go to 147 but that was the poll's only 2 options, and i chose the more likely of the 2.

Neither. Have at least one title defense in his new division e.g. Paulie Malignaggi, Nate Campbell, Holt, Bradley etc.

Noble. But at this point when Pac is contemplating retirement, He will either go for money or legacy or both.

i'll fight jmm at 140 even if he loses and hope that pbf fights and beats cotto or mosley next, then fight him at around 144 then retire

option 2. a win over pbf, even at catch weight, is better than a win over cotto

Most money against Floyd, of course. Plus, many people consider Mayweather a better fighter that Cotto so it would be more beneficial to Pacquiao's legacy to fight and beat Floyd.

But a stake is a possible 7 division championship, the very first fighter in history in case, which will take years or possibly, decades to break.

Eh, these days the word "champion" has been watered down so greatly that accomplishments like that don't mean all that much to tell you the truth. I'm not sure how many times Pacquiao has held the legit lineal championship of a division, but I can tell you that it's less than 6 or 7... and beating Cotto also wouldn't make him a lineal champ at welter so mind as well go for the bigger pay day with the better opponent in Floyd Mayweather. A win over PBF would trump any lame ass "7 divison champion" claim.
