    I dont think hatton is scared of witter, he;s duckin him so witters doesnt get a pay day...i just dont see why he'd let that get in the way of him winning the WBc title at 140, and beating his local rival.... :huh

    I'm not gonna pretend to know **** about the situation between Hatton and Witter, but from the outside lookin in, it would seem if Hatton didn't like Witter or whatever the thing to do would be just kick his ass and get it over with. Why talk about not letting the guy get paid etc.., just kick his ass and make him not only shut up but your ***** too.

    1.
    Witter: I challenge you!
    Hatton: I'm at world championship level. I won't fight you because you don't have a world title.

    2. (after Witter wins WBC title)
    Witter: I challenge you!
    Hatton: I won't fight you because America isn't interested. I only want fights that will be big in America.

    3. (after Hatton fights Urango and Collazo despite excuse number 2 above)
    Witter: I challenge you!
    Hatton: err...I won't fight you because...err...you upset me once and I enjoy not giving you a payday. Yeah that's why.

    You have to remember, Ricky has NEVER faced anyone that has called him out. For some strange reason he called Floyd out.

    Witter and Paulie have both called Hatton out so I doubt he will want to face them. Instead he will probably call out Rees or Torres or fight someone from a lower weight division.
