And clearly that didn't happen tonight...

Cotto got jobbed. Never had a chance of winning...

Probably deserved it after acting like a diva with the wbc.:hey

well, in that case... Cotto was stripped a few days ago, so that wasn't a problem then.

Alvarez looked like warm dog feces.

He had no jab and no clue how to cut of the ring...

Canelo easily outclassed Cotto, his him harder, more often, and at way better connect rate. Canelo defense was better as well.... Cotto put up a good entertaining fight for the most part, but he absolutely did not win 6 or more rounds.

I can count on my one hand how many times canelo hit cotto cleanly. :bbb

Most of the time he was standing in the ring looking like a pale statue trying to swim in treacle.

Guy is a golden boy manufactured fighter.

Boxing is scored on a 10point must system and scored round by round. To beat a Champion, all you have to do is win more rounds than him. ie: 12 round fight win 7 rounds

Yet he decisively beat "master boxer" Kneeguel Cotto, I think its time you guys come to the realization Canelo is better than you think he is.

yup, belts are nothing anymore when boxing is just won by rounds. the challengers are not considered challengers anymore since all players are equal once in the ring. there is no more advantage of being a champion and challenger putting on more effort to get the belt so all belts are meaningless now and does not deserve any fees whatsoever as the organizations do not protect their champs. all is well then. it leads the way to eliminating all boxing organizations.

Wtf? All players should be equal, no? Should a lower seed baseball team get fewer outs to play with? Boxing has been scored by the round a lot longer than you've been alive so I find it funny how some of you guys get on here and pretend to reminisce about the good ole days when boxing used to be great.
