He doesn't have a chance. At all. He's going to get outboxed badly. I doubt there will be as much delusion as there was from Gatti fans when Floyd fought him, but, you never know. Cotto ain't the one to beat Floyd, so just accept it.

How much of a chance would you give him? I don't think he has 'no chance.'

    No jab
    No right hand
Best punch is left hook but will be unable to land it
Feet are very plodder worthy and just not quick enough to match Floyd's athleticism

His biggest problem is that his feet have always been much too slow. You saw a clear case of that when he faced Pacquiao; he was befuddled against Pac's speed. He kinda plods forward basically when he's on the offensive. He can bounch around...but only when he's on the defensive. He doesn't have the boxing ability coupled with the athletic ability to match Floyd. It's not going to be a close fight.

Not 100% true. Cottoe is a leftie by nature.:deal
Hence his jab is great, and the left hook.:deal
Right hand and right hook are none ****ing existant.:patsch
He wont be able to land the left hook your right but the jab will save his ass to the end of rd 12.

Victor Cruz would have a better chance to beat Floyd than Cotto does

U dont really understand boxing and styles...Maweather will try to walk him down, but unlike Ortiz...and Unlike Mosley, Cotto knows how to fight going backwards which I have NEVER seen Floyd deal with...I have always said the way to beat Floyd was to respect him as the bigger man, and run from him while fighting going backwards...Floyd will continue to come forward and the fight will be very awkward...go back and watch Anselmo Moreno's first loss...He fights just LIKE Floyd and looked silly..Im not saying cotto will win, Im just sayind the style, the weight, the fact that Floyd has no power at jr mw, will make for an entertaining fight...ALSO, Cotto moves, when u try to hit him...Floyd is not as accurate with his fast potshots anymore...This fight could turn out very awkward, but ur uneducated to say the style matchup is not interesting...Im excited as hell cuz Its been a while since Floyd has seen this style

I don't think he's going to win, but i do think he has a chance. To dismiss a guy like Miguel Cotto would be unwise at best. If Mayweather goes into the fight with the same dismissive approach(which he won't....for all of Mayweather's antics, he is ALWAYS fully prepared), but if he was to enter the fight half heartedly, i could see him paying for it with his "0".
