Under Steward, Cotto was developing a good, solid jab. Not great, but very respectable. He's getting dusted by Floyd though. Just two different levels of fighter. I'd love to see an upset though.

Cotto had a chance four years ago, but he's slower now, damaged, and that's exactly why Floyd picked him. He's Alvarez with more street cred now.

 

To some extent I do agree with you, because I got Floyd by stoppage on a very easy fight.

Cotto does have a jab, but he only uses it to start a fight (which explains why he has an excellent 1st. round almost in every fight), when he is starting to feel the trouble (retreating mode) and when he is in survival mode.

Cotto does have a right hand, but he'll get countered with Mayweather's lead left hook.
