I agree with some of that. Floyd picked him though because Manny errrr, I mean Bob Arum is a *****.

No offense, but, Ortiz was 165 lbs. on fight night and Floyd beat him up. The size is a non-issue...especially since Cotto is not fighting at his best weight.

How can you think cotto has no jab.

Cott's jab is a thing of beauty and will give floyd trouble.

agree with the left hook been his best weopan but can't see that landing.

but he will have a better chance than most because if your throwing the jab, your much more likely to land the left hook.

I don't think mayweather is going to try to back cotto at all when was the last time u saw Floyd back anybody up but what I think could happen is cotto going to the body in the corner of the ring thts somithing I think Ortiz could've done to actually get a hit in cotton could win I think if anybody only cotto cause pac cant

I'd never write off Cotto, although I do expect to see a wide UD victory for Floyd.

Only thing I'm looking for here is to see what adaptations Floyd will make. Is he going to try and emulate a style which he knows Cotto has trouble with (that being pressure), or is he going to going to maintain his precision counter punching style?

It's a very interesting fight if you ask me. I think Cotto is wise enough to not be disheartened by the typical Floyd style of hit and not be hit. Cotto will be there fighting till the end, it's unlikely his heart will break against Floyd. Against Pac/Marg, it was a combination of the constant pressure coupled with the diminshing effect of his punches which caused his loss. I think he knows he has the power to at least trouble Floyd, and won't be under the same kind of physical onslaught he faced against Pac/Marg.

I think everyone here knows what the score is with this fight, it's really all about "what is Floyd going to do?" Against Ortiz, he came out a lot more aggressive, will he do the same against Cotto? Can he?

    Really looking forward to it...

I agree that Cotto wont win but he will make it a tough fight for Floyd.
Cotto showed a good jab against Foreman, defensive improvements against Mayorga and good footwork with Margarito.
At 154 Cotto looks healthier, stronger and technically more solid.

This fight is a walk in the park for Floyd.
