Could you get a top 10 ATG heavy?

Wlad has skills & heart but no Chin.

Vitali has zero heart and quits when the going gets tough but he has the Mandible.

I have said a lot of things about Vitali - mostly to wind-up his fans - but I would never say he has a lack of heart. The guy tore his rotator cuff against Byrd. I believe that's meant to be excrutaiting. Why else would he quit when he certainly would have claimed the win?

Yes, Wlad has dragged his ass off the canvas on numerous occasions to get the win. Granted, his fighting style is atrocious to watch because he knows he has a Glass Jaw, but his heart is unquestionable.

It is a good question. Watching the fight (Without sound) I have never found a version with sound btw :think The injury is not clear to me, as he keeps on throwing. But I also heard that a torn rotator cuff only prohibits you from throwing certain punches. Jabs. How many jabs did Vitali throw after the first three, where I heard the injury is supposed to have happened?

Another reason (Maybe combined with injury) Could be that he thought the fight was closer on the cards than it was. I had 6-3 Vitali first time i watched. Not 7-2 or 8-1 like the judges. I have seen others with that score as well. There is even argument for 5-4 each way according to some. I say 6-3 or 5-4 Vitali. And with how the ninth round went, a Byrd point or even a "normal" TKO victory was possible.

That is probably why he quitted yes, i think if he knew that he was up by 7 rounds, then he would have kept on going using his left hand only.. :conf

Imo Vitali is more skilled than Wlad.. I also believe that Vitali has waaay more heart than what you give him credit for

One would think so, yes :think

Hmm, funny to think that Audley Harrison supposedly boxed nearly 12 rounds with a torn rotator cuff, and Golota staying in his fight with Byrd (Apparently a master of messing up peoples shoulders up) with one as well.

I thought it was his left hand?

Either hand/arm or whatever bull**** they came up with, he was throwing openly with both arms in round 9. He threw 80 punches in round 8. The reason he quit was because he knew he was in a close fight and figured if Byrd swept 10-12 he would have lost. He was missing with most of his punches, was getting walked down and was taking shots. It is no coincidence that he quit right after Byrd started really bashing him up.

Left? I always thought it was his right :huh.. Hmm..
(I think) Vitali quitted because Byrd had fought his way back in the fight, and probably thought that Byrd could (as you said) have won the final rounds and gotten the nod in the decision. Vitali probably didn't like his chances of winning the last couple of rounds against Byrd with a shoulder injury+ risking further damage to his shoulder..

Did you hear him protest when his corner discussed pulling him out?:think

Did you hear or see him protest when they started applying butterfly stitches ending the fight?:think
