if you could add pavlik to super six but had to remove a boxer from tourney to do so?

Pavlik on the mere fact it makes the super six as exciting as it is even more exciting. Not that dirrell is not exciting but he's the less seasoned.

They call this a Showtime tournament, but it is actually Sauerland's idea. The entirety of the abra-monster mythology is based on the illusion that Pavlik ducked AA. Sauerland could not let Pavlik in. His presence would have completely destroyed the myth. So, instead of inviting KP, they set Arthur up to fight KP's left overs. If Abraham had any balls he would have insisted on Pavlik being invited.

I'd take out Dirrell. Dont think he has got enough fights yet for this level. He could use the 2 years that the tournament is on to build himself up, then he'd be in a great spot.

 

My first thought was Dirrell but he brings a fairly interesting style, so i went with Ward. I would kill to see Pavlik amongst it.

In an ideal world Pavlik and Bute would have been in the tournament in place of Ward and Dirrell. That's not to disrespect the talents of the 2 Andre's but in my opinion Kessler, Taylor, Froch, Abraham, Pavlik and Bute are the 6 most proven fighters between 160-168. As it is however, i can accept that this was not possible due to numerous matters and I'm happy with the tournament as it is.

 

Why in the world would so many people want to take out the man who is going to win the tourney undefeated, Andre Dirrell? Dirrell is by far the best fighter in the tourney. The answer to the question is so obvious that it almost makes this thread unnecessary. Kelly Pavlik needs to replace Jermain Taylor. Jermain Taylor got beat by The Ghost twice and lost to Carl Froch as well. Taylor does not deserve this oppourtunity.
