Do you think Jack would lay down his cigar and partake in a joint with Iron Mike?

    That would be pretty crazy.

After the podcast and communal high, Mike would be saying Jack was the greatest HW ever - unbeatable. Nothing like the old weed to fine tune one’s thinking.

Mike recently had Ryan Garcia on his podcast - prior to that Mike was picking Tank Davis over him - now, Mike isn’t so sure. He was somewhat swayed by Ryan’s presence and thoughts. Lol.

Dempsey would fight at LHW if he's under modern rules.

Do you actually think Jack Johnson didn't smoke some weed here and there? It was around in his era. I'd be shocked if he didn't on occasion.

I'm laughing just thinking about Johnson and Tyson sharing crazy stories.

That was a good episode. I tend to not listen when he has rappers on (I'm just not into rap), but I always listen when he has boxers or MMA fighters on. Also, when he has an out of the normal for him guest, it can be good. The strangest one was William Shatner. Shatner immediately took control and performed an odd, wide-ranging interview of Mike, including getting into a bunch of philosophical questions at the end.

Jack probably would’ve given it a shot - but publicly on podcast would still be different.

Errol Flynn was into it - and everything else.

Last time Errol’s old mate David Niven visited him, Errol was at the stage of putting putting some cocaine on the tip of his “old fella” with the intention that it would have the effect of an aphrodisiac. An early, primitive form of viagra - Lol.

The “perils” of weed have long been known - here’s the trailer from the 1936 film REEFER MADNESS. Haha.

A certain teenager in the 90's who is totally not me may have actually got high and watched that movie, laughing his posterior off.

This question is complex on so many levels.

If this was a real proposition, you would probably pick the people whose deaths were most tragic/premature, regardless of what they could offer to the sport.

If you get past that, then what stage of their career are they at, when you bring them back?

There are a few trainers who had a lot to offer when they cashed in their chips, but most fighters careers were done by then.
