For boxers from Cuban The Soviet Union and other Communest countries to allow their boxers to fight as pros. It would be interesting how they would have impacted the sport.
If Tito would have bypassed Hopkins in that Middleweight tournament. If Meldrick Taylor would have at least made the final bell and received his just deserved decision, especially in light of how he's doing now.
If I could have my way it would be this... -Trinidad would be retired by now or just go down to 154 and clean that division (for some crazy reason I think he still can do it). -Tyson would have been prepared for Douglas and would never be in jail -Wilfredo "Bazooka" Gomez wouldn't lost to Salvador Sanchez. If a lost had to be in place then a rematch had to happen and I wish Salvador was a live today! -Camacho out of drugs and bad habbits -Foyd wouldn't retired before fighting Cotto (although we are still on time for that to happen) -Golota would have beaten properly Bowe without the low punches -Vitali wouldn't get cut in the Lewis match -911 wouldn't happen and Trinidad could've been properly trained for the Hopkins fight and wouldn't lose that fight or at least not by KO. -Wilfred Benitez would be 100% healthy today -Ali wouldn't have his desease What do you guys think of that list??
I'm thinking maybe Mancini-Kim. Not only was it tragic, but it had a profound effect on boxing on network TV. It was harder to get sponsors and boxing on network TV in the states has been on a decline.
i would change Hopkins Victory over Trinidad into another Puerto Rican Victroy Parade... Trinidad KO 7th round and then he retired. Only in my dreams
Have Lou Duva tell Meldrick Taylor: "You've outboxed him, you have the fight won. The fight isn't hanging on this round. You're gonna be champion of the world! Don't fight this guy, dance man, dance!"
Tyson's loss to Lewis, if he would of won that night, theres a good chance we be debating wether or not he should be in the top 3 right now. I think that is one of the only fights I felt like crying afterwards, it was a horrible feeling.
