If you could choose the gloves for the fight: Grant or Cleto Reyes?

The ironic thing about Reyes gloves is that Cleto Reyes had to retire at a young age from taking too much punishent. Anyway, fighters should be able to wear any gloves they want. However, it really doesn't matter. Just get in there and fight. Mayweather is not even a power puncher and he knocked out Hatton with 10 oz. Grant gloves. A punch is a punch.

 

how about the "who gives a **** about gloves because fighters have been knocked out wearing all types of gloves" option??

That's the difference, but you don't care since you're in love with running/ducking/dodging/avoiding.

Why are you always bitching and complaining? Shane should be able to wear any gloves he wants. In the end though, it doesn't really matter.

I own both pair of 8oz gloves. Both have almost an equal amount of 'pop'. Grants have foam padding which keep their form and are a little wider offering more coverage for defense. Reyes mold more to the knuckle and are thinner, u can feel the knuckle coming through more on reyes. In terms of punchers glove in order from least padding to most it goes Reyes, Grant, Everlast-Ringside (tie) Winning-Rival(tie)

What the hell are you talking about? I've clearly stated that Mosley should be able to wear any brand of gloves he wants. Whether he wears Reyes, or Grant the result will be the same. None the less, no one should dictate what brand of gloves he wears.

 

Whatever the fighters are comfortable with.

 

Reyes everytime.
