For me, personally, I always saw his jab as being dominant in a way which may not have been at the level of an ATG like Holmes, but for the era he boxed in it was more than enough. His uppercut against shorter and even taller opponents was at times a determining factor. His right cross fell many opponents who seemed at the time dangerous, such as Razor and Briggs. I'm wondering what your opinion is and who would you compare his career as well as style to.
