If you could delete a fight from a favorite boxers legacy, which fight would it be?

Kostya vs Cool Vince, mainly because it’s the rod that ignorant twits use to bash Tszyu with.

Foreman vs Briggs. Deserved the win and it would have been nice to see him go out on top.

Fenech vs Nelson 1 - a travesty, a completely cooked result that stopped Fenech’s career in it’s tracks. He was never the same mentally after that despicable robbery.

Interesting question, at first I thought I would delete the loss to Rahman from Lewis' record. But, actually, the finish of the rematch was pretty iconic.

So, instead, I would delete the loss to McCall. I don't think boxing fans lose anything from seeing McCall have an emotional breakdown in the ring in the rematch. And that loss to McCall derailed some exciting fights. The McCall loss really set his reputation back in America until he beat Holyfield. And maybe we would have gotten to see Lewis versus Tyson earlier, or even Lewis versus Bowe.

I agree completely that neither fight should have happened, but I take somewhat of a contrarian view on both of them. I really believe that if Ali would have not used the diuretics and trained properly to enhance his strength and toughness (and came in around 225-230 instead of 216) he would have done much better - maybe to the extent that he could claim some kind of moral victory. Of course there was no way that the best version of that Ali was going to beat Holmes but I think the properly trained Ali could go the distance and give Holmes a few moments of discomfort. Ali was much better physically for the Berbick fight although he probably didn't train much at all. Yet its really not that bad of a fight and Ali had some moments. It's an underrated fight and its amazing to me how well a shadow of Ali (and that's being generous) could do so relatively well against a top ten heavyweight.

Gabe Rosado vs Golovkin. Rosado was the IBF mandatory for the 154lb belt, and he likely could have beaten Cornelius Bundrage/Ishe Smith/Carlos Molina.
But that Golovkin loss completely killed Rosados only real opportunity to win a title. Well, there was the Quillin fight, but luck was not on Rosado´s side that night, nor were the judges. After that night, Rosado always fell one short of getting a title fight.

And speaking of bad luck: Rosado was supposed to fight Saunders on the Canelo - Liam Smith undercard, which would have been for Saunders´ WBO belt. And at the time Golden Boy were looking to set up a unification between Canelo and Saunders. This was THE golden opportunity for Rosado, but Saunders backed out, and Rosado ended up fighting and loosing to Willie Monroe Jr. Ugh...
Oh, and Monroe Jr. then challenged Saunders in his next fight.

But somehow Rosado left the sport with his faculties intact, and a boatload of money. Now he works on DAZN broadcasts, so in the end it was all worth it.

ODLH being destroyed by Pac was hard to watch. Was just another instance of the oldest story in the sport (aging great getting in there with a young lion and finding out that Father Time has come for him), but for whatever reason, that one hit me.

O… hay algunos Mexicanos aqui? Que tal Gallo? La misma historia.

Khan Vs Peterson. A big injustice against Amir Khan and also took a bit of the shine off Garcia's win over Khan in the next fight.

But then would we have gotten the epic comeback and title win in the 90s? 'Old' George Foreman was like a whole new fighter with his own fascinating career, and it's doubtful he'd have existed had he not felt like he had unfinished business/a point to prove after how his first career derailed.
