If you could do Calzaghe's career again, who would you have him fight?

    If Calzaghe started his career in america . He would have ended his career as a journeyman IMO .

    Hopkins and Ottke ducking him was unfortunate. Collins pulling out against him and retiring was also unfortunate.
    People who say go to America are being ridiculous. Americas top SMW world champs, Brewer, Mitchell, Lacy were all beaten by Calzaghe.
    the big fights were in Europe and he got alot of them - Eubank, Reid, Woodhall, Veit, Kessler all fighters to also win SMW titles.
    Ottke was the one he ddint get who refused to fight him, but Calzaghe beat all common opponents clearer and several opponents Calzaghe beat, some think Ottke lost to.

    Just a shame Ottke and Hopkins ducked, still history repeated itself when Ward ducked Bute

    You wouldn't have liked to see him move up to LHW and fight Jones Jr, and DM, back around year 2k or so?
