If you could erase Tyson's ear bite from history, would you?

Tyson was going to lose. Evander had his number. I would not take it back, everything which has happened in boxing has made it stronger and the rules have been built around those events. It does not take away from the fact both are great fights and Mike was just more past his prime than Evander. Mike's style wore out in 1990 and this was 1996

Tyson, has always had a problem with frustration, it was never lack of heart. He bit Holyfield because he was frustrated and has admitted it himself numerous times, he was annoyed that he couldnt put Holyfield away. Holyfield was outboxing Tyson and 'out dirtying' him as well. Tyson needed to get to Holyfield one way or another, desperate men take desperate measures.

What Tyson lacked after prison, was discilpline. Even against guys like Tucker, Tyson was getting annoyed, but with Rooney in his corner, Tyson kept his cool and won a decision. Post prison there was none of that.

Tysons weakness has always been his frustration, thats understandable when you had a fighter as furious as Tyson was. Even the clip where a younger Tyson was crying with Teddy Atlas, that was because he couldnt handle the pressure

I still believe Holyfield would have won, but id love to seen the fight continue

Another stoppage defeat for Tyson was on it's way if he hadn't bit off that piece of ear.

I would've liked to have seen the fight go on, post-bite. Tyson was actually fighting pretty well after he snapped. The likelihood of him getting DQ'd soon after would be high, but it would've been a good fight if he settled in.

    This.

The big question is, say the fight continued & Tyson ended up wobbling holy with a decent bomb, would his confidence & self-belief soar? Furthermore, lets say Tyson wins the 2nd fight what happens next? What does it do to each fighters legacy if the have 1 win each between them? Just food for thought...

  6. Evander the fraud deal Holycheater not only juiced up for both of his fights with Tyson, he also lowblowed him (which contributed to Tyson's 1st knockdown), elbowed him, and headbutted him over 30 times, cutting Tyson 4 times, and none of those cuts were caused by a punch. And you'd have to be ****ing stupid to think that Holyfield wasn't amped up on PEDs when he took Tyson's punches.

I'd say Mr. "Evan Fields" (that's the name he went under when he went and bought steroids) deserved getting his ear ripped off for taking steroids his whole career and putting other boxers lives in danger, and of course for being the dirtiest fighter in the history of the sport. George Foreman called Holycheater the dirtiest nastiest man he ever faced after their fight. The man is a fake Christian, a juicer, a hypocrite, a liar, a cheater who cheats on his wife, and overall a SCUMBAG.

I applaud Tyson for taking a chunk of his ear off, I would have done the exact same thing. IMO he should have bitten Holycheater's nose off too, and finished the juicing cheater's career by kicking him in the balls.

  7. Fact was, Evander the Fraud Deal Holycheater was the dirtiest cheater and scumbag the sport has ever seen. Mr. "Evan Fields" (the name he used when he secretly ordered steroids and other PEDs) has used illegal drugs in at least half of his fights in his career, depending on whether he could get away with it, and that's why one second he'd be knocked down by a cruiserweight and the next second he's taking punches from Tyson like it was nothing. George Foreman said that Evander Holycheater was the dirtiest and nastiest fighter he'd ever faced, and he's right. Holycheater was an expert in headbutting, elbowing, lowblowing, wrestling, pushing, etc, I'm glad he got his ear torn off.
As for outside of the ring, the man claims to be a "good Christian" who was "raised right" by his mother, but at the same time, cheats on his wife, lies to his wife, has 20-30 mistresses and has a bunch of illegal children. Women who have been around him have claimed that he is a pervert deep down. When the FBI investigated him after they got evidence of him taking steroids, Holycheater denied it and his idiotic fans believed him. Really, you guys believe a guy like that?
The man is not the real deal, he is a fraud, cheater, juiced, liar, fake christian, and a hypocrite. All of his "fans" need to wake the **** up and see the man for the ugly thing that he really is.

Mike and Evander Holyfield were both on massive amounts of steroids and GH, that being said Holyfield beat Tyson's ass with ease in the first fight, Tyson won one or two rounds at most. The second fight was just going to be the same. Tyson was never great, once he fought top level fighters he simply got his ass kicked.
