If you could find a flaw from Floyd's performance what was it?

The flaw in his performance was that he didn't take every possible liberty and KO Marquez, despite the fact that he could've done so in pretty much every single round. He picked at Marquez all fight long, a fighter he completely outmatched in every area, and allowed him to last the distance. I am mind-blown how people could possibly be impressed by that performance. It was an easy comeback fight and a big payday for Floyd. Maybe now that he has his bearings back he'll actually show us something, because that fight was a farce.

i think he doesnt let his hands go often simply because he has a history of brittle hands hence......he knows he will win the fight anyway so why not protect your money makers for future fights.....he goes all out like some want and Floyd would be out with injury a lot more due to hand problems guranteed....especially at these bigger weights.

(Not all of these are specific to his last performance.)

    - Sometimes he darts back in a straight line rather than circles. This could be a problem against someone that comes in with straight combinations on the very same 'line', as Pacman does a lot.

    - He can be predictable at points -- you could see him trying to use the same 'check hook' strategy that worked on Hatton against Marquez at points, but he couldn't perfect the timing, and Marquez had better punching form than Hatton.

    - Drops his guard sometimes and just uses his reflexes to duck/sway away from punches. Can currently get away with this due to his speed, but still risky against a good fighter.

    - Lunges in with the left hook, much like Jones Jr used to. Someone with good head movement (and expecting this punch) should be able to give it the slip at least a few times, despite Mayweather's speed. Once you slip it you have the chance for a single counter.

    - Liable to potshot rather than throw combinations. He is thus liable to losing the round if the other guy has great workrate and stamina, which is why the Hoya fight was scored so close on the cards. Simply not enough activity from Floyd.

    - Sometimes goes into a lead-right to the body, which got him in trouble against Judah (Judah countered with a neat lead hook and Mayweather's glove touched the canvas, a technical KD) and Hatton, who countered him doing this in the first round.

    - Straight punches can bother him, aka the jab and the right or left straight. This is because his style relies on rolling with shots, which is VERY effective against things such as hooks, but becomes more tricky when against punches that go right down the pipe. This is why Marquez's only truly good shots were flush right hands once or twice, and Mayweather tried to smile them off, but they looked like they stung. Judah also scored 'down the pipe' with a 1-1-1-2 combo (if I remember right) where the final shot, the left hand, snapped Mayweather's head right back and made him instantly shell up.

    - He's never lost, or been seriously down and hurt. It's unknown territory for him, and I see it as a kind of 'boxing rite of passage' that every legend has to go through. Leonard had it against Duran and Hearns, Ali got the smackdown against Frazier, Whitaker pulled out that miracle punch against Hurtado, Pep had his Saddler, etc. One day Mayweather will experience this, and the later it takes to arrive, the worse it will be for him, as age creeps up on you.

he was fighting a lightweight, and not a welterweight. that's the most damaging effect on his performance in my opinion.
