The only fighters I would have had him avoid would be fighters that were better than Ali like Usyk and Mike Tyson. I may have had him avoid Holyfield because Holy was a great fighter but Holy was extremely hittable and probably couldn't have stopped Ali due to how great Ali's chin was, so maybe Ali could have snuck a disputable points win vs Vander, I would also have had him avoid many of the bigger heavyweight champs that followed in the decades after the 70's, I feel Ali would have had problems with taller heavyweigghts that could move and had fast long jabs, Ali's reach was the same as Usyk's, he would have struggled in the modern era. It could be argued that if Ali had avoided big punchers like Foreman he may never have ended up with parkinson's, Ali took far too much punishment in his career.
Tyson had better offensive skills, Ali mainly through1-2's Tyson's combos were better and his body shots were amazing too.
