Definately- when you compare boxing then to know, its like a different sport. Even the cream of the crop don't seem as good now as they were back then.

    Feather:-

    1. Naseem Hamed
    2. Steve Robinson
    3. Wayne McCullough
    4. Paul Ingle
    5. Colin Mcmillan
    6. Duke Mckenzie
    7. Jon jo Irwin

...... What a line up, nearly every division was stacked with willing talent. It will happen again, but in hindsight it was a truly golden era.

I totally agree Jeff. Good old Jon Jo Irwin that's a name for my childhood. Remember when he fought at 1am on a box office bill in this country. Hopefully it will get back to them days when you had boxing on saturday night and occasional midweek show, Plus Ringside to keep you updated on weeks boxing. The big cards from U.S aswell...ahhh i'm deffo dreaming now :D

    Ali v Marciano

Ali would win I reckon. But their faces would resemble pizzas at the end.

Was an awesome era domestically, and not just the featherweight division. There were always quality, entertaining fights, even if the boxers weren't true world class. Kevin Lueshing (what a fight with Saunders!), Geoff McCreesh, Richie Evatt, Paul Ryan, Ensley Bingham, Paul Burke, Jason Rowlands, Anthony Farnell, Michael Gomez, Francis Ampofo, Shea Neary, Crawford Ashley... I miss the '90's!

    Domestically:

Scrap Iron Ryan v Amir Khan at 140, just for the inevitable highlight reel KO
