how can anyone slag off lennox lewis's chin when he never lost to anyone he didn't beat afterwards?

the original question is weird but what sprung to my head was nigel benn - lennox lewis. it's be like getting hit off a locomotive

Power was never Jones's problem, in fact it was one of his strong suits. I'd take a different quality to add to Jones's game, such as a stronger chin, or at least a stronger will to fight all the best. Not slagging his competition, just saying he could've shown a bit more interest.

Thats funny no one picked the two most obvious choices of this day. Imaging a Roy Jones Jr./Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Hybrid. I know you would say they both would duck anybody but damn what kind of athlete would that produce. If I had to go alltime I'd go Rocky Marciano and Jones Jr. for a big dude. He'd kill everybody. For a small dude Pernell or Floyd with NAZIM HAMED. DAmn, he'd kill everybody too.

Your combinations add nothing to any fighter's game aside from Marciano and Jones, they're just a few flashy fighters combined with each other.

    I say Chavez + Floyd Mayweather .

with Chavez's granite chin (rate alongside Hagler's), hard-hitting etc, strong will combined with Mayweather's speed, and defense, a good combo @ the weight.

That's what they were calling an amateur Mark Breland. Didn't work out as planned in the pros.

    Present Day:

Miguel Cotto + Floyd Mayweather = Perfect Welterweight

The power, heart and warrior mentality of Cotto.

The speed, agility and amazing defensive skills of Mayweather.

    All-Time:

Roy Jones Jr + Mike Tyson = Perfect Heavyweight or fighter period

    Roy's god like abilties

    Mike's power

Valuev+ *any* decent fighter=The man to unify the HW division.
He's just to damn big. For his size he can move pretty well, but if you took his size, and mixed him with even a B class fighter (normal speed, tecnique, defense, etc) nothing could touch this man. I cannot wait for the day when somebody Valuev's size, whom is pretty athletic (something like a Bob Sapp in MMA) steps in the boxing ring.
