If you could only have one of these fights made?

    Mayweather vs Alvarez

    Mayweather vs Pacquiao

Now I'm not asking what fight you think should be made or what fight deserves to be made but if you could only have one of these two fights go down this September which would you choose?

For me it's a tough call. Alvarez looked outstanding against Trout and he brought a little something new to the table and it makes me wonder what he could bring to a fight against Floyd. There isn't a boxing fan alive who wouldn't want to see this fight.

However I still edge towards the Pacquiao fight because of everything that has surrounded it for all these years I'm so invested in the idea of the two squaring off that I would hate to watch the two see out their careers without this having this fight on their resume. Purely selfish reasons of course and I know the chances of this ever happening are all but gone but it's just hypothetical and god damn I still want to see that fight get made.

I think Floyd would get the W in both fights for the record although I think they are both very credible fights, certainly more so than him fighting Guerrero.

From a boxing pov - Mayweather v Canelo. Canelo seems like the most formidable opponent due to his size and youth. Canelo should be fighting the likes of GGG and Martinez though. This is strong case for having the weigh-in the same day like old school fights. No more of this bull**** who can dehydrate the best a la Canelo and Chavez Jr.

For my money though, it's still Mayweather v Pac. I fancy skill over brute any day. This would be a few notches above Rigo v Donaire.
